Barbados and Arrival in St Vincent

Flying overnight is certainly one way to get places cheap but is also miserable. So during our Miami layover, we ventured to South Beach for some sun and warmth. This is Mark's first visit.

We got to Barbados late but our kind guesthouse host Jeri was there to greet us with water and showed us our room. I loved the quote on our room wall:

"Love doesn't make the world go 'round... Love is what makes the ride worthwhile."

She also made the best breakfast the next morning which we ate on her front porch looking out to the ocean. We then ventured down to the water to swim and relax. On the way back, we swung by a street party the local radio was putting on. We tried some fish cakes and commented on all the men already saddled up to the bar at 3 pm. Then it was back to the airport to fly to St Vincent. I wasn't feeling great so went straight to sleep in hopes of kicking this cold before we sail on Sunday!
Breakfast view. Dish included.
Beautiful warm water!
